This 1-bowl, easy to make, gluten free, & vegan banana bread, tastes like the real deal with classic delicious flavor, added superfoods, & chopped nuts!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare the flax egg in a small bowl. Set aside for at least 5 minutes or until it begins to "gel" up.
In a separate bowl, add the dry ingredients & mix well.
Add the wet ingredients, including the gelled flax egg, to the bowl with the dry ingredients & stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
Fold the chopped nuts into the batter.
Line a bread baking dish with parchment paper or use a small amount of melted coconut oil to grease the dish.
Pour the banana bread batter into the baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 55-60 minutes, or until the batter is cooked through.
Allow the cooked banana bread to cool completely before slicing.
