Veggimins CBD product review, including Veggimins CBD Oil, CBD chocolate bars, & CBD chocolate hearts! Be sure to check out this post too on 5 ways I use CBD within my daily life!
Today I’m sharing a review for Veggimins CBD products containing CBD/hemp oil!! CBD has quickly sparked interest throughout the health & wellness world. I feel like it kinda came up out of the blue & became this cool trend. Well I’m here to tell you that CBD actually works, & has the capability to work wonders for your health…& anxiety levels. So lets’s get into it!
I first heard of CBD products a few months ago. There are two health bloggers that I religiously follow, which is where I first learned of CBD & how to incorporate it in the kitchen…making it easier for consumption. The next thing I knew, this amazing brand Windy City Organics reached out to me regarding their brand Veggimins.
Veggimins is dedicated solely to quality CBD products.
Their entire product line is Vegan, Non-GMO, lab-verified, additive-free, cold processed, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Wheat Free, Soy Free, US grown Organic Hemp, & everything is made in a peanut-free facility. Um Amazing! Especially when buying CBD, it’s important to buy from a reputable brand who values the health of their customer & one that is able to produce amazing products.
For me, I feel like I am in a place where I am still trying to figure out what works best for my body & mind, in regards to food. I am very strict with what I put into my body. What you eat affects more than just your hunger. It has influence on your mind, your emotions, anxiety, sleep, energy levels, & more.
CBD is not something I had ever considered before this collaboration. After taking Veggimins CBD daily, I have found a healthy way to help inflammation & most of all assist in combatting stress.
So lets get into it! First I’ll break down the products that I’ve been using & loving from Veggimins CBD line & then I’ll dive into everything you need to know regarding CDB & the benefits it can provide!
Also, did I mention that the products on Veggimins are insanely reasonably priced & to make things better, I have a discount code for 20% off your CBD purchase!

Veggimins CBD Products
Veggimins Dark Chocolate Hearts with CBD
(60mg per jar – 2 oz per heart – contains 30 hearts)
Okay these Veggimins cbd chocolate hearts are my favorite. I love chocolate…who doesn’t. But really, I alternate taking just one in the evenings or even in the mornings when I just need a little zen. I read that taking CBD in the mornings can work differently for everyone, regarding energy levels. For me, if I know I have a long day ahead of me, I go ahead & take one in the morning. If I don’t take one in the morning, I’ll have one at night with a cup of tea or before bed. Again, it’s all about knowing your body, some people don’t like to have raw dark chocolate before bed because it disrupts their ability to fall asleep, but personally, I did not notice anything in regards to difficulty falling or staying asleep. In fact, I have been sleeping like a rock.
All of their chocolate is hand crafted & the Veggimins CBD is extracted without the use of solvents. This product is processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts & seeds, but no grains, peanuts, soy, or dairy.
Veggimins Dark Chocolate Bars with Hemp CBD
(5mg per chocolate bar)
Nearly identical to the Dark Chocolate Hearts, these handcrafted CBD organic raw cacao chocolate bars provide an earthy treat packed with antioxidants & most importantly CBD! With just four ingredients (organic raw cacao nibs, organic coconut sugar, organic raw cacao butter, & Hemp CBD Extract), these Veggimins CBD chocolate bars are perfectly portioned for any dark chocolate lover.
This product is processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts & seeds, but no peanuts, soy, gluten or dairy.
Veggimins Organic Hemp Oil with Hemp Extract
(300mg Lab Verified Hemp CBD per bottle)
Veggimins CBD oil is derived from organic hemp, has high CBD content, & also has essential oils (Organic Therapeutic Grade Cinnamon Essential Oil,Β Organic Therapeutic Grade Peppermint Essential Oil, Organic Rosemary Extract) combined with the base of organic hemp seed oil.
Hemp oil can be taken with or without food. I find it easiest to add it to a morning smoothie or if I want to take it at night, I add it to my tea. If you add it to your tea, you will see the little oil droplets floating on top of whatever you are drinking, because…oil & water don’t mix duh. If that is bothersome to you, just blend it in a smoothie. There is a subtle minty taste due to the essential oils, but it is by no means overwhelming.
So I’m sure you have a lot of questions regarding CBD & how it could potentially help improve your health & stress, am I right? I did my best to put all of this information into my own words…making it easy to understand. I will link additional information regarding CBD at the end of this post!
What is CBD oil?
CBD or “cannabinoids” is found within the cannabis plant. Not to be confused with “weed infused”. I’m sure we have all heard of weed infused foods…such as brownies for example. CBD is not psychoactive. This means that consuming a CBD product will not make you “high” or experience any change in your mental state, but instead can provide significant health benefits.
Although hemp (used to make CBD) & marijuana come from the same plant, they are very different. The main difference is that marijuana contains both CBD & THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). THC is the difference maker, due to its ability to produce a mind altering state or “high”.
Marijuana farmers specifically breed their plants to be high in THC. Hemp farmers have not taken any extra efforts to modify their plants. This results in hemp, which is then used to make CBD oil.
Q: How do CBD products work?
Our bodies actually produce certain forms of cannabinoids. We have two receptors for cannabinoids (CB1 & CB2 receptors), most of which are found within our brains. When we take a product infused with CBD or hemp oil, it triggers our body to use more of the cannabinoids we produce on our own.
For a little more regarding the cannabinoid receptors, CB1 involves brain functions such as coordination, movement, pain levels, emotions, mood, appetite, & memories. CB2 is found within the immune system & has the ability to influence inflammation levels & pain more specifically.
Q: What are the benefits of using CBD?
- Natural pain relief / Chronic pain relief

- Fights drug-resisting bacteria
- Anti-Inflammatory Properties, great for general inflammation & autoimmune diseases
- Anti-seizure properties
- Anti-cancer agent – can help block cancer cells from spreading
- Can provide assistance to anyone suffering from a mental health disorder, general stress & anxiety, PTSD, social anxiety, OCD, & panic disorders

Q: Is CBD legal?
CBD oil/hemp products are legal in New Hampshire (where I live). CBD is legal because it is not a drug. If this is something you are worried about, Google where you live & you should be able to find some information about what is allowed, because it is different than the actual laws regarding the use of marijuana. When purchasing CBD, from anywhere, it’s important to seek out reputable companies. This insures you are getting the best quality of products with verified levels of CBD.
Q: Are there side effects when using CBD?
In my personal experience, I did not experience any negative side effects. Although some reported that they have experienced signs of tiredness, diarrhea, & changes in appetite/weight. CBD might also interfere with certain types of medicine. As always, it’s important to communicate your concerns with a qualified doctor.
Q: Are there any risks of using CBD?
Although the FDA has not come out & approved the use of CBD for the treatment of any condition, it is a good idea to consult with your doctor if you are worried about using a CBD product. Also, I am NOT a medical professional & the information on this blog should not be used to diagnose or replace professional medical advice.
Have you ever tried CBD? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Gonna recommend my girlfriend this blog for sure. She will love it. Thanks π
That’s awesome! Thanks so much!
Dark Chocolate Hearts with CBD? I’m in! This is such a great post, I’d seen CBD products at my local health food store but the price put me off. I think I will have to give them a try. Not sure if they sell the dark chocolate hearts in the UK though…
Interesting post. Never heard about this product I don’t think…
Thanks so much for reading!
Very informative I am glad to see more educational posts being written on this topic. I some how feel that medical benefits are constantly being brushed aside. We are in a time period that reminds me of the old days of prohibition prior to the legalization of alcohol, I think we will get there but so much governmental red tape.
Hemp oil, interesting. I learned a lot from reading this post. I would never refuse dark chocolate, thatβs for sure .
You & me both!! Thank you for reading!
