I’ve been using Veggimins CBD oil for over a year now – I actually can’t believe it’s been that long! CBD has definitely become a hot topic within the health & wellness world – you see it everywhere! I’m a proud user of Veggimins CBD products & I think CBD really has potential to help with a multitude of aliments.

One thing I have learned first hand, is to pay attention to the quality of CBD you’re using & know whether or not it has traces of THC in it. Devin started using a CBD oil (not from Veggimins) while we were in Canada & turns out, it was actually causing him more harm than good, due to traces of THC. CBD with THC can actually contribute to panic attacks & increased anxiety in some individuals, which is something that initially, I wasn’t aware of. Veggimins has an entire line of CBD, including this amazing Turmeric enhanced CBD, that is free of THC!

For those who are new to CBD products, THC is a natural compound found in the marijuana plant that ultimately causes the “high” sensation. But when talking to a CBD expert when we returned back from Canada, he informed us that people think the THC in CBD oil or marijuana is helping, specifically their anxiety levels, because they feel so good during the “high.” In actuality, the THC causes an increase in anxiety once the high comes to an end, which tricks people into thinking they need more. The crash after the high can become really brutal for some & can lead to panic attacks.

Just something to be aware of!

CBD can also contain filler ingredients which are just unnecessary. Like anything, it’s always important to read labels & to check the ingredients! Veggimins does an amazing job, with all of their products, by only including ingredients that are necessary & that will enhance healing properties! Such as the turmeric & black pepper extract in this CBD oil! Turmeric is great for inflammation & you need black pepper to activate the turmeric! Veggimins CBD is all cold-pressed as well, which improves the quality!

Anyone who ever asks me about CBD, I always refer them to Veggimins. They’re a brand who I’ve come to trust. I think that’s one of the biggest things when it comes to different CBD products. In some states, CBD can be accessed anywhere…it’s even sold in some gas stations here in New Hampshire! My advice in regards to CBD, is to know your source, determine if you want a product with or without traces of THC, make sure it doesn’t contain filler ingredients, & do what works best for you! For me, Veggimins checks off those boxes!

5 Ways I use Veggimins CBD Oil

For the majority of these CBD oil uses, I put the oil directly under my tongue & let it sit there (under my tongue) for maybe 20-30 seconds before swallowing!

1. Inflammation

Some days are better than others, but some form of inflammation is a daily occurrence for me. Although my skin is recovering from months of inflammation due to hormonal cystic acne, most of my inflammation comes in the form of structural body pain in my hips, back, or legs. On days where I need an extra boost, I love taking some CBD at the beginning or end of my day.

2. Bloat & Stomach Discomfort

I have been working with an energy healer for over a year now to combat my several digestive issues that have caused me daily pain for years. I’m thankful to say within the past year, my digestion has improved tremendously. It by no means is flawless & there are still some days where I experience intensely painful bloat or discomfort. During these painful episodes, I’ve been swearing by CBD for the past few months. It seems to really help reduce the discomfort & stomach inflammation!

3. Anxiety

During my first 2 years of college I really struggled with anxiety, up to the point where I couldn’t sleep. Now I’m in a much healthier place & thankfully, rarely experience bursts of anxiety. But if I do know that I have a busy day, if I’m traveling, or just have a lot on my plate, taking some Veggimins CBD really helps keep my mind at a place of ease, which is a state I enjoy being at.

4. Sleep

I usually have no trouble falling or staying asleep, but there are some days here & there, where either I’m wound up or over stimulated from my computer or phone, & I’ll take some CBD before heading off to bed. On those days, CBD helps me unwind & just get ready for a restful sleep!

5. Skin

Applying CBD oil topically on the skin is something that is new to me but I recently learned this tip from gut-health blogger Lilsipper (she’s one of my favorite bloggers)! She’s been experiencing some hormonal acne as well & she’s used CBD topically on her face to reduce inflammation! I think this idea is genius! You can also massage CBD topically onto an inflamed area of the body such as an ankle or knee, just as an example!
