The list below consists of 25 of the best certified B Corporations to support in 2023. Also sharing why supporting B Corps is so important for us as consumers & for our planet!
I wanted to share a roundup of certified B Corporations who are doing great things & influencing change across many industries. The list below shares 25 amazing B Corporations to support in 2023 if you’re into clean living, non-toxic beauty, & a variety of health food brands who are committed to driving change & using business as a force for good!
As some of you may already know, I partnered with Beautycounter in the Fall of 2019 as an independent consultant. I mention that because Beautycounter is actually a certified B Corporation! Beautycounter was the brand that first introduced me to what it actually means for a company to be a B Corp! Now I love supporting companies who have a B Corp certification because I know their business practices support social & environmental performance accountability & transparency!
What is a B Corp?
A B Corporation or “B Corp” are for-profit companies. There’s approximately 6,000 certified B Corps across 80 countries, in 150 industries. Find more B Corps here! Certified B Corps meet the highest levels of standards for social & environmental performance, accountability in terms of profit & purpose, & transparency. Transparency can include things like sourcing, ingredients, & labor. B Corps have a social responsibility to focus beyond just profit. They contribute to the global movement of people using businesses & their hard earners dollars towards driving change within a specific industry while creating a variety of positive impacts throughout the United States & other countries.
If you want to support more B Corps who commit themselves to doing good across the board, keep an eye out for the B Corp logo on products or on the brand’s website! By becoming more mindful of where & how we choose to spend our money, we are then able to support communities & brands, like the B Corps listed below, towards bettering our environment, keeping us as consumers healthy & safe, & of course, building a sustainable economy!
