Learn the importance of self love & how to welcome more of it into your life by following The Magic methods of practicing gratitude & the law of attraction.
Hi everyone! I’ve been completing a 28-day gratitude practice called “the Magic” by Rhonda Byrne. She is the author of the highly popular & successful method called the Secret. I’m a little over half way through my daily gratitude practices following the guide lines of the book & I’ve really been awakened to a whole new process of thinking regarding the abundance of gratitude we welcome into our lives.
But it doesn’t just stop there. Gratitude can be applied to ANY area in your life whether that be personal, financial, career, relationships, health, dreams or desires. As I learn & read more about the power that our minds have on our entire lives, it’s fascinating to notice the intense shifts of energy, life changes, healing, & an abundance of blessings that are able to occur once we flip the switch.
So with that said, I want to convert those practices of gratitude & abundance in accordance with the concept of self love.
Self love is single handily one of the most important gifts you could possibly give yourself.
Self love not only nourishes body, mind, & soul, but it also plays such a huge role in the quality of relationships we are surrounded by. Our own personal self love sets the tone for how we allow others to love us.
If you find yourself wondering how to welcome more self love or even love in general into your life, you must be grateful for the love that you already have, even if it’s a small amount or none at all. This is a specific technique that I’ve learned through the Magic practice.
You must be grateful for things that you don’t have or things that have not yet happened. For example, if you worry, stress, or dread an area in your life, those thoughts will bring upon MORE problems, MORE worry, & MORE stress. But by transforming those worrisome or neglected areas of your life into something that you can really be thankful for, you are then able to cultivate patterns of abundance & the ability to welcome new surprises, news, & opportunities into your life. Like attracts like, in all cases!

Tips for Attracting More Self Love
The best part about gratitude is that the more frequent you practice it, the more quickly you will be able to notice a difference in your life. So here are some of my favorite tips for promoting self love & how to attract more of it to YOU!
1. Be thankful for the type of person you want to be, without diminishing who you are now.
I think there is great power in being thankful for the person you want to be without taking away from the person you are in the current moment. Good or bad, our experiences make us the people we are today. Be grateful for them, learn from them, forgive & or accept, & more forward…all without judgement!
2. Look inward. Self love can not be found anywhere else.
Self love cannot be found in another person. It involves you & only you. You have all of the answers.
3. Focus on what makes you special.
Everyone has something that makes them special. If you can’t quite put your finger on it. Write down 5 things each day that you are grateful for in regards to YOU. Still can’t think of anything? Do you have 2 eyes? Are your legs able to carry you throughout your day? Does your stomach digest your food after each meal? There you go. There’s three things already. Be grateful for every little thing. Once you start becoming more aware of all the good, you will start finding more things to be grateful for.
4. Reflect on what you learned throughout the more difficult times in your life.
Beating yourself up over things that have happened in your past may influence the amount of love you are able to show yourself. Now is the time to let go & move forward. Believe me, I know that’s a lot easier said than done, so please don’t forget to be patient & kind to yourself during this time.
5. Be mindful of your thoughts.
Do you tear yourself down or build yourself up? Are you excited for the day ahead or do you dread getting out of bed. These things matter. Your mindset is the determinant of how your life will go & how you view yourself. The more excited you are about your life, the more self love you will also welcome. Remember, like attracts like!
6. Find things to fuel your body, mind & soul.
Take part in things that make you feel REALLY GOOD. Fuel your body with strong nutrition, make time for movement, while also making time to be still & quiet. Find what you love & do a lot of it!
