Love Tree Ruffle Sweaters & American Eagle Mom Jeans make for a perfect casual look for Fall months! Complete with a cute pair of Chelsea boots!
Well, welcome to my first fashion post!! I have always loved creating simple yet chic looks, while NOT blowing my bank account…entirely. My goal is to share what I’m loving, what trends are in, how to save money, & how to look your best! This past Fall/Winter I knew I wanted some fun sweaters that were a little different from everything I have been seeing on social media. Recently, when I stopped by my TJ Max, to restock on my favorite natural deodorant (which I will talk about in another post), I happened to become a little too distracted by all the new sweater arrivals, & ended up leaving with way more than just deodorant LOL!
I will admit, I truly cannot remember the last time I bought an item of clothing from TJ Max, but I fell in love with three sweaters, this black Love Tree sweater being one of them. This sweater is perfect for days where it’s a little chilly but not overwhelmingly cold. I love to incorporate really girly things into my outfit, so safe to say, I am obsessed with the mid sleeve ruffle detail!
Moving on to jeans…after seeing one of my favorite bloggers, Sivan Ayla, post about these jeans, I knew I HAD to have them, or at least hunt them down & try them on. They are the “Mom Jean” by American Eagle & they are EVERYTHING! After being told by a store worker that AE is testing the jean out & that not every site has them, I finally called around & got my hands on a pair. I could have bought them online but since I never tried on a pair in this particular style, I wanted to make sure I liked the fit before buying.
I am not crazy crazy about jeans & would almost always just choose to wear a dress over wearing jeans just due to comfort but these are a life changer. Fitted around the waist & hips but they give a little more room moving down towards the lower leg. Even though I consider myself tall, I bought these in a Regular & I really like how they are cropped right above the ankle. I could wear these jeans all day everyday. I loved them so much I bought the same exact pair in a black denim without distressed knees, online, & for much cheaper due to a sale! AE frequently has really good deals on jeans so it’s always a good thing to keep an eye out. I will link the jeans below!!
If you know me, you know I LOVE Public Desire shoes. This UK brand has been my go-to shoe brand for over two years now, & I have never not liked one of my purchases. These boots were a STEAL!! Public Desire has random flash sales where they will have boots or heels for $10 or $15…which is basically a NO BRAINER!
The Public Desire account on Instagram is very active & posts regularly about the different promotions & sales going on. I find it very helpful to follow them to keep up with what’s going on with new arrivals & sales. I was lucky enough to catch one of these flash sales & got these awesome, chunky platform maroon ankle boots for $10. They were originally $60!!!! How can you beat that?! These boots are so versatile & very comfortable, so to say I was pleased with this purchase is an understatement!
Finally onto jewelry. SIMPLICITY is my go-to for all of the jewelry I wear. I have worn the same charm necklace since 6th grade & don’t plan on changing that anytime soon. I am not a frequent jewelry wearer plus I’m very picky! These stunning David Yurman Cable Classic bracelets are my obsession & they are exactly my style when it comes to jewelry. I’m not crazy about all gold & definitely not all silver because of my gold charm necklace. The simplicity of the cables with the mix of both silver & gold could not better suit my style. To say I’m obsessed with these gorgeous pieces would be an understatement. I wear these with most outfits. They are timeless & go with almost everything.
