10 Things That Brought Me Joy This Week

I’m sharing 10 things that brought me joy this past week & weekend, in the hope of inspiring you to find joy & happiness in all of life’s small things!

I'm sharing 10 things that brought me joy this past week & weekend, in the hope of inspiring you to find joy & happiness in all of life's small things!

Happy Monday! I love reading short lists or favorites posts that other bloggers do, so I felt inspired to put together a list of my own…last night at 2 a.m….whoops!! Anyways, I wanted to share 10 things that brought me joy over the past week & weekend! Be sure to check out my post, 50 Things That Make Me Happy, where I talk all about finding joy in the small things in life. I truly believe that finding joy in the small things is crucial to finding & maintaining happiness. I hope this post allows you to reflect on your past week & to take notice in the things around you that bring you joy & bring a smile to your face!

My 10 Things!

1. Lana Del Rey’s new album

I’ve been listening to it non-stop. As a HUGE fan of hers, for years, I can’t say it’s my favorite album she’s done, but there are a few great songs on it – Cinnamon Girl is definitely a favorite of mine – so good!

2. Fall Weather

Hello! This is my ideal weather! I had my sunroof open on my way home from doing some blog work at a local cafe about 10 minutes from where I live & it made me SO happy. There’s nothing better than crisp air + the sun shining, am I right?!

3. Pumpkin Spice Lattes

A.K.A Pumpkin Spice everything haha! Speaking of the local cafe, I got an amazing Turmeric Pumpkin Oat Milk latte & it was worth every penny! I know you either love pumpkin spice or hate it, but man, I love ALL things pumpkin. I enjoyed my latte with a cup of local squash & corn soup…amazing!

4. Making cards for people

I love making homemade cards for people, I’ve made three within the past week & there’s just something about writing, designing, & crafting them that is so relaxing & therapeutic!

5. Trader Joe’s

Once you know what to buy & how to navigate Trader Joe’s, a whole new world opens! Seriously! They have the best stuff! I definitely look forward to my weekly TJ grocery trips! P.S. be sure to check out my Trader Joe’s Fall Shopping List!

6. Organizing

Last night I got in a mood where all I wanted to do was purge through my makeup, clothes, closet, room, you name it – the next thing I knew, it was 1:00 a.m. & then I wrote this post LOL! But I find organizing to be so relaxing. I love to do a good house/closet clean out about twice a year, in the spring & fall – so it’s about time!

7. Bachelor in Paradise

The entire Bachelor franchise is one of my top guilty pleasures, I just can’t help it! The finale of BIP airs tomorrow night & I’m thrilled – who doesn’t love a good televised engagement, with a side of drama haha!

8. Face Time

Honestly what did we do without it. Devin is off for his third year of playing professional basketball (I miss him so much & it hasn’t even been a week yet, ugh!) & my family lives in Florida so I LOVE my Face Time sessions & feel SO grateful to have the access to the modern technology that allows me to do so!

9. A good candle

I don’t light candles often but I lit one on Saturday morning before I did a meditation & burned some palo santo…it was so relaxing & peaceful. See the beeswax candle I love HERE!

10. Skin progress

It’s been a long 6 months dealing with pretty intense outbreaks of hormonal acne & I’m finally starting to see major improvements which has me feeling so grateful. I’m looking forward to sharing more about this topic & what I’ve been doing within the next few months!

Feel free to share something that brings you joy in the comments below – I’d love to hear!
